Launching of "Vee Creative: A DIY Feature"

I've always been a craft hobbyist but never really turned that into an online thingy but there's so many amazing things that needs to be shared and I don't want to stop myself from sharing it here in The Blah Blah Notebook. 

As I have mentioned in my blogging goals this year, I want to add another feature. Well, this is it now. This is really it. My friends, I'm finally launching VEE CREATIVE. This is a feature I'll be posting  at any random time. This is where I'll post  my DIY crafts.

For the premier post, I'm sharing a DIY I made the other week. I was on a sick leave due to a minor flu. Work was very stressful that week and I badly need a break and one of my therapeutical activity during that 1 day leave was recycling my old vintage watches and necklace chains.

I call it, the EIFFEL TOWER WATCH NECKLACE.

                                

Things I prepared:

Glue

Pair of old watch frames

Old necklace chain

Any pretty bead (I used an Eiffel Tower)

Pliers 

Small wire

Here's how I did it.

1. I collected some old(no longer working) vintage fashion watches and removed their frames.

2. Using the part of the frame, where there are holes for the screw, I linked them together using a small wire.

 

3. Using another small wire, I linked the Eiffel Tower bead to the wire that linked the two frames so it will hang on the inside.

 


4. I stuck the two frames using a glue.

5. Lastly, I linked the old chain to wire that linked the two frames.   And VOILA......

Now, isn't it pretty? I can pair it up to any outfit I'll wear. Stay tuned for my next Vee Creative feature. And oh, by the way, I want to thank Joy of The Bookshelf Intruder for intruducing Canva.
