On Online Shopping

It's undeniable how online shopping are trending these days. I've seen and hear a lot of advertisements from TV, online and even radios. I will not deny that I am also a fan of these stuff. Not because I', a shopaholic but online shopping saves you from the traffic of getting to department stores and malls and from the tiring hikes on halls and columns looking for something that even the sales lady can't help you.

With online shopping, you get to hop from one shop to another with just pressing your keyboard keys and clicking your mouse. Very easy and you don't even have to line up in the cashier to pay.

Looking for the stuff you need is also easier since all you have to do is filter the categories. No hassle at all since all you need is just a fast internet connection. While some say that some shops are scam, there's a safe way to avoid it. Always investigate before proceeding in ordering in that certain shop. Read reviews about the site and choose your payment method wisely. If you are not that sure with the shop, then don't pay in advance. You can always pay via Cash on Delivery. it's safer and you can make sure that nothing is taken from you. All you have to do is wait for the delivery and just prepare the amount you need to pay. If they don't deliver, then move on happily since like I said, nothing was taken from you.

My first experience with online shopping was with Zalora. It's an online fashion shop. I heard it first from Nuffnang when they hosted a Zalora Wishlist contest which I happily joined.  After browsing their site, I was able to order a blouse and tank top. It was just actually a run test if they will really serve my order with free shipping even if its total worth is just Php500. After placing my order, they called me to verify the order and then after 3 days, the items were shipped via LBC.

My next experience was with Lazada.  I ordered 2 flash disks to giveaway to a youth community for a fund raising. I chose COD payment method to be sure. I know it's silly to order flash disks online when you can just go to the nearest store directly and have it ASAP but in that case, I just didn't have the time since I was drop dead busy with work. unlike Zalora, they won't call you for confirmation but they will just send you an email and after that, the forwarder will just be the one to contact you. I got those flash disks after 3 days. Just recently, I bought the Smallest Camera Mini HD video camera and it was then delivered after 3 days via 2GO.

There are actually lots of online shops where you browse nationwide or internationally. You just have to be cautious so won't be scammed. Read a lot of reviews before picking a shop.

So that's it folks.. Sharing my thoughts on online shopping.

  2. Hi sis! My first online buying experience was in Metrodeal and I'm happy it was successful! It's really more convenient buying online and the best part is, the products and services are far more cheaper compared to those we see in the mall. :)
