The Sendong Tragedy

Magdadalawang linggo na matapos ang nangyaring flash flood sa Iligan at CDO. Napakasudden talaga. Baha here and there. Baha everywhere. Hooh.... Until now, hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala but then I'm just thankful kay God for the lives of those who were able to survive. At least bagong buhay. Time to reflect and change. Of course, hindi ito magiging madali. I've seen the destruction. Naputol na tulay. Ruined houses. Dead bodies. Nakakatakot at nakakalungkot.

It happened so fast. Walang mag-aakalang at exactly 1am... some lives will end. Karamihan pa ay mga bata at matatanda. That night of December 16, kahit ulan nang ulan, party everywhere. Christmas party nga kasi. Institute party nang MSU-IIT, department parties. Personally, I was happy that night of December 16. Umuwi galing Laguna ang isa sa mga closest friends ko and she even visited our department and kind of joined the party. It was the awarding night of the 2 day Skills Competition nang department namin. Foundation day kasi nang depatment namin. We had so much fun habang nagbabatuhan nang pick-up lines. By 10pm, we all went home while ako naman, went straight to Jolibee to meet the unit head of CYA, we were going to have an overnight christmas party at Linamon. Humabol lang ako dahil nga sa christmas party namin sa department.

The Notebook Finally Got Its Own Domain

No... no... no... I'm not talking about Nicholas Spark's novel, The Notebook. I'm talking about this very own blog, no other than, The Blah Blah Notebook. I finally got my own domain just last Saturday. Now that I remember, It's my blog's anniversary this month. I honestly forgot about it. I would've never remember it if i haven't seen my archives. Woooahh... The Blah Blah Notebook is finally one year old...

Though my page rank went down from PR1 to PR0 now, well at least it'll soon work out fine specially now that I already have my own domain purchased from Go Daddy.

Hopefully, I'd get to  buy domain for my two other blogs which are, as for the moment are not yet updated.

Sacred Stone: My Book of the Month

When everything seems to be falling apart (charr... that sounds dramatic), my ultimate  medicine is reading a book...( of course, that's after I'm done eating a lot of food when I don't feel really good).
I know this semester is going to be bloody. My brain would dry and I may never gain weight for the next five months. This is because, we're starting to develop our special project (some call it thesis... something like that). Unfortunately, my groupmates are not that cooperative to me... (it sucks because... I'm the only girl in the group and the rest are males... P.S. i'm the group leader....) Anyway, I'll give them some time while I cure my aching head (from pressure) by reading my newly bought book.
This is going to be my book of the month. Last month, I read Narnia's 4th series The Silver Chair. I borrowed it from my classmate. For this month. I'm reading Clive Cussler's 2004 THE SACRED STONE.
I'm still on the first chapter and I'm already thrilled.
Anyway, here is the overview of the story. For more details of the book, go to the Cusslermen.

Photo from Simania

In the remote wastes of Greenland, a young scientist has unearthed an artifact hidden in a cave for a millennium - a 50,000 -year old meteorite known as the Sacred Stone, which possesses potentially catastrophic radioactive power. But the astounding find places him in the crosshairs of two opposing terrorist groups who seek the stone for themselves.

One is a group of Muslim extremists who have stolen a nuclear device. With the power of the meteorite, they could vaporize any city in the West. The other group is led by a megalomaniacal industrialist who seeks to carry out the utter annihilation of Islam itself.

Caught between two militant factions bent on wholesale slaughter, Juan Cabrillo and his ship of high-tech mercenaries known as the Corporation must fight to protect the Sacred Stone - and prevent the outbreak of World War III.

What made me happier about this book is that I got for a low price only. Haha... Believe it or not... I got it for only Php20.00, that's about $0.50 USD. Absolute Sale at BookSale and I guess I really do have a power of getting books at low prices. Hehe...

NEVER ASSUME UNLESS STATED

One of best rules in the constitution that can be applied in real life: "never assume unless stated".
-In life, sometimes we tend to expect and assume too much. Too much things that in the end, we end up being hurt. This is a poem about expectations, assumptions, being fooled and realizing mistakes and lessons we learn. A poem about such stated in a narrative love story type. -

He was a junior and I was in my freshmen year
Told me he loved me but I didn't care
I was so young and I had my priorities
That I had no time for anything unless it's for my studies.

Vee Philosophy: The Patience Theory

I'm going to cut my breaktime for now. Instead, I'm posting one of the philosophies I have come up with. The Patience Theory. I just came up with this theory one time when I was thinking about the argument I had with one of my classmate with regards with boys having multiple girlfriends during our literature class. (We were discussing some poem about courtship!!! )

My classmate told me that boys do things like that because of a previous heartbreak. It could be that a guy had a trauma from a previous relationship which is wwhy his one way of trying to heal himself is through collecting numerous girlfriends. Yes, it's unfair but let's face it, with the liberality of today's generation, girls are doing the same as well.

The Over-the-Bakod Experience

I was so tired that whole four hours that I was so exhausted when I came home. What’s more tiring was that I also had to go to the school gym for the Cultural Night of our College Palakasan. I haven’t eaten my dinner that time and it was already past six when I came to the school and help my classmates with some of the activities we prepared.
It was quarter to 10 when I decided to go home. I was so tired and hungry. The dorm where I live at imposes curfew and it’s always 10pm during regular semesters and 9pm during summer classes. I had a classmate who had a duplicate key for the dorm for she’s the assigned keymaster of the dorm. She comes home late always because of her school works (she’s a senator in our student government) and she was busy that night in the gym so I was thinking that if she wouldn’t go home yet, the dorm gate would still be open so I went to the nearest fast food and ordered TO-GO meal. It was getting dark so I rode “Sikad” and arrived about 10:30.

Maria Cristina Falls Trip

7-30-2011. this was an amazing day. I’d say I experienced two first time experiences that day. It’s been two weeks already and it’s frustrating that I haven’t posted a blog about it until now.  Anyway, I’m sharing now what happened that day.
Saturday, 7-30-2011, it was a date. CYA was going to hold its fellowship on Ma. Cristina Falls. Of course, I was very excited. It would be my first time to go to the place. I have been to Tinago Falls and Abaga Falls, unfortunately, I forgot to export all my adventure trip photos from Friendster which is why Tinago, Abaga Falls and Mt. Agad-Agad will only be memories on my head. Anyway, like I said, I have been to Tinago and Abaga Falls, but Maria Cristina Falls? I never had the chance to. Iligan is of course the City of Water Falls but of all the falls there, I’ve only been on the two.  Anyway, I can’t blame anyone for not having a chance of going to Ma. Cristina. Ma. Cristina is a private place. Not everyone can go there without having to log-in and ask permission on the office. Ma. Cristina is the no. 1 source of Mindanao’s electricity.

So I got there along with some of my dorm mates, friends and other CYAers. It was amazing. That time, the flow of the falls was ravishing. The water falls looked like soap bubbles poured on a pail of water. I could even see rainbows. Totally AWESOME and LEGENDARY.  Here is a picture of the falls.
After being totally amazed by the beauty of nature God has created, we then went to the nature park where we watched crocodiles rest with their mouth wide open, ostriches roam around their cages, etc. We played outdoor games as well.
I have a continuation for this… “The Over-the-Bakod Experience”

COLLEGE DlLEMMA

As part two of my Nothing Beats College poem, I'm sharing this poem entitled "College Dilemma". I wrote Nothing Beats College when I was in my first year in college. Crazy how I kept it for myself for about three years before posting it here in my blog. Anyway, this is my final year in college( I hope so) so I'm writing a part two.

Why do colleges are so complicated?
Why does it make simple things overrated?
Why prove simple values
When the answer is very obvious?
Forcing our brains to drain
‘til blood in our noses rain.

What you get is not what you always see
Because even if your professor smiles
They can still give you INC
And when you think that you got the finals nailed,
Don’t relax and sit back,
For you can still have a failing grade.
 Photo from Google

And crazy how statistics be so ridiculous
Stating conditions and never-ending rules
And I never thought that freedom can be measured, “son of a gun!”
Then came a statement stating the degree of freedom.

And how come integration and differentiation are very significant?
When after all, it’s only plus and minus that you’ll encounter in your future working barracks.
Why do efforts seem to be very unimportant?
When you have done your very best for your thesis to be excellent.

And when you thought you have sniffed every chemicals, hydrochloric acid and all,
Your chemical research still fails that you feel like overdosing with pills you bought from a drugstore.

Seems to be impossible but yes, it’s true
College is not as simple as a-e-i-o-u
It is a never ending drama
of college dilemma.

A POEM FOR CAT

A friend of mine sent me this poem via text message. Of course, it was untitled and I really don’t know if he’s the original composer of the poem or what but I just know, he wants to tell it to a girl that I know as well. A girl I used to live with for almost 6 months. An extraordinary girl I’d like to call a cat. Yes, I’m a common friend of the two. A clown boy who faithfully waited for a boyish girl for three years. However, their relationship only lasted for one year. The boy continues to be a clown until now and it’s funny that when he gets to the point that he becomes really irritating, the only thing that we can use against him to shut him up is her name. The girl always calls me on the phone till now. We joke around and just like him, the only thing that could shut her up is his name. Hmmm… This is the poem he sent me.

Every time I miss you

I keep thinking of you

You’ve always been in my heart

And I thought it’s ‘till death do us part

When I sleep I dream the day we were glad

And it’s hard to forget the memories we had

Loving you was never hard for me to do

Because I know you loved me too

But now it’s time to say goodbye

For the love that is meant

Was just only for a moment.

Break Time: MOONLIGHT

Just want to share to you the assignment made for my literature class. We were assigned to draw a portrait from the story Moonlight by Guy de Maupassant.

Ay! May pahabol pa nga pala ako! Bago ko lang napansin ‘to! Just for fun…let’s play a game! It reminded me of the movie Legends of The Guardians kasi. The name of the game is SPOT THE OWL. There’s an owl spreading his wings and it’s your task to find it. Hanapin niyo kung nasaan… Ready..Set..Go..

Vee Philosophy: Mistakes and Sins

There's a fine line between a sin and a mistake. Unfortunately, many take mistakes as a sin and vice versa but actually, they are different and a person has to be rational enough to see the fine line in between.

It is a sin when a person knows that it's wrong, UNHOLY, and obviously bad but still continues to do so just to please oneself. THAT IS THE SIN.

On the other hand, mistake is an act done without the person knowing the consequences of his actions. Mistakes are NOT DONE INTENTIONALLY. They just happen without the person knowing that his decisions or his actions are actually wrong.  They happen but see, you get to learn from these mistakes. You just have to look at the bright side.

WHY DO MISTAKES OFTEN MISTOOK AS A SIN?

This is because most people are blinded by what their physical eyes see. They don't dive and see beneath the surface. They easily judge. They often speak with regards to the negative side and don't let themselves enlightened by the bright side of mistakes. I am not saying that mistakes are good but obviously, they are not that bad. It's just how a person sees it.

Break Time: Confessions of a Used-to-be Jaywalker

So this is my second break time post. Hooh... I can't believe, it's been a week that I haven't post anything in any of my blogs. My Giants and Elves series is delayed. (Yeah, right, like I have a lot of serious readers there... Well, who knows? Siguro marami rin naman talagang bumabasa non kahit ang dami kong typo. Gosh!!! I miss blogging!)

Anyways, I'm back at school again which is why, I'm not that active with posting blogs. I'm loaded and most of my major subjects are scheduled noon. Some are even 6-9 pm... Noong mga early years ko here in MSU-IIT, one thing na lagi kong ginagawa is tumawid nang kalsada... :-) Obvious ba? hehe...

Blank Mind: Updates and Whatever

It's been a tough week for me and I've made last minute and surprising decisions and now all I have is a blank mind. I've been thinking for how many days what should I write for blog. Even my Giants and Elves newest chapter is a bit delayed this month. I want to write but all I have is a blank mind. A blank mind...

The last article I have published in Triond was last  May 26 and my last post in this blog was last week. I'm thinking that I'm totally losing some points for Adgitize... LOL... Anyway, my Triond article views seems to be doing fine even if I'm not yet publishing any.

Beyond Crypticness finally closed its online contest. Sulit has also finished its raffle and I just wish I could win the Pickity Giveaway which is going to end on June 31. The earrings I picked on Pickity is really nice, antique and unique.

A Sad Jeepney Love Story

It's not Valentines but there's a love story I want to share. It's not something special but it's something that we witness everyday. Something that we can relate to a sad love story.

Image from Philippineplus

It was raining last Thursday when I rode a Jeepney home. The driver and the conductor were still waiting for additional passengers to fill the jeepney. A girl sat on an extension chair between me and the woman on the opposite side. The other side of the extension chair was still vacant. We were all set and the driver was already starting the engine. He's about to drive away and then someone shouted from the outside saying that he'd like to ride too.

SHOE HUNT: Caught Between Sneakers and Doll Shoes

I don’t always shop for shoes. I only shop for shoes during emergencies (I mean during times when I have no choice like wedding, graduation, formal occasions, thesis defense, project proposal and when shoes are on laundry). Because that’s the only time I have to wear those heels, stilettos and the likes which are really not for me. I’m not really comfortable with those. It aches my feet and I’m not comfortable with showing off my feet. Believe me, my feet are not that adorable. I have giant feet. Size 9. (woooahhh! Huge! Lol but true story) I guess it just match with my height.

My usual footwear get-up are sneakers, usually chucks. I have four chucks. Hmmm… Anyways, I just got my monthly online earnings last week and I have decided to treat myself. I have decided to treat myself for a material thing. After all, I think I deserve it. After all, I have already spent my previous online earnings for an investment last month so maybe, it’s just right to give myself a reward. What came into my mind was a pair of new shoes even though I know the hunt was going to be difficult because of the size of my feet. So the decision is final. Actually, I was looking for okay-okay shoes since there are lots of original and slightly used shoes in okay-okay. In fact, three pairs of my chucks are from okay-okay. Also, they’re cheap so maybe I can buy an extra pair but there wasn’t any okay-okay shoe store in our city unlike the previous city I spent my three years of going to college. I was disappointed that I decided to go home but instead of calling a cab, I ended up inside Meryl, a shoe store and then I was caught between a nice MNJ doll shoes and an Adidas sneakers. Like I said, hunting for shoes with size like mine is difficult and they were the only shoes that I was attracted into and it’s great that they’re perfect for my feet. To think that I’m not easily attracted to doll shoes. I don’t wear a lot of doll shoes. For me, they’re only for emergencies. Both have common color. MNJ with gray and pink and sneakers with white and pink which is odd because when it comes to pink and red colors, I’m always the choosy type which is why until now, though my favorite color is red, I don’t have a red shirt. Both prices were just fine though I know I could have the same shoes but lower prices in okay-okay. The price was just fair enough for a brand new one. In the end, I bought the MNJ doll shoes and until now I can’t believe it. I can’t believe I bought a doll shoes instead of sneakers.

Break Time: The Four Honest People

I have decided that from now on, I'm going to post a Taglish post ( I mean Tagalog-English) every after three posts in this blog. Why? It's simply because I just miss writing Filipino words in my blog like my first posts. One even is making it on top of my popular posts and it's consistent on the list of popular posts. I don't know but maybe Kuya Kim Atienza is really a popular searched topic on the web especially for Pinoys.

I'm going to call all Taglish posts Break Time and that means I'm having a break from all the English talks here. I get tired sometimes and my brain just go blank sometimes. :) So for my first topic for breaktime, I'm going to talk about The Four Honest People.

Planning the Unplannable and Focusing on Investments

"I'm tired of planning the unplannable" - Ted Mosby in "How I Met Your Mother"

I feel the same way too. For how many years, I'm always one of those types who plan to do something but in the end, nothing happened. I don't know maybe, things weren't meant to happen, maybe because something came up before the plan was executed or maybe I was attacked by a certain illness called laziness. Things happen for a reason and sometimes, that reason may not go along with your plans.

Last year, I was too excited, just before graduating, I planned on doing something and yes, it was a plan I successfully did but in the end, the outcome was not satisfying. Bottom line is that it was a failure. And it was the biggest failure I've ever experience. I have waisted money and time and to think that I have planned it very well in the beginning. Many would regret it if it ever happened to them but I don't. Why? Because it happens when it happens. Things happen for a reason. It was a mistake but a useful mistake. It was a mistake where I have learned enough and it's done already. Good thing to do is just accept it and look at the bright side. [Anyways, enough of this, I had a post about this whole last-year issue].
What you plan usually doesn't end up the way you want it and that just tiring. So why just let anything happen and stop planning. Instead, just plan the unplannable. Expect the unexpected and be surprise with the outcome.

PACQUIAO-MOSLEY Boxing Match 2011

After defeating Margarito last year and acquiring his 8th championship title, everyone was expecting a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight but due to unexplainable reasons, the pretty boy and undefeated boxer Mayweather declined the idea of the Pacquaio-Mayweather fight.

Instead Pacquaio was then scheduled to fight for Sugar Shane Mosley in the 8th day of May[Philippine time], the same day of Mother's day. Upon the announcement of Pacquiao and Mosley's fight several months ago, many were excited for one reason that Mosley is challenging boxer to fight with because he'd never been defeated through knock out. All of his fight were ended with decision. All were up to the 12th round of the game. It was a challenge for Pacquaio who has punched his way to knock out his previous opponents.

Just yesterday, May 08, 2011, the world witnessed the fight of the year. The world witnessed what supposed to be a super great fight but instead, coming from a personal opinion of an ordinary viewer, it wasn't that great at all. There wasn't much of intense moments of exchange of jobs. Well, it was kind of exciting when Pacquaio had knocked Mosley down in the third round but after that, all I saw were clingings, and slipping of punches.

I don't blame Pacquaio anyway, I saw the intense desire of giving the audience a good fight. In fact, it was more exciting in the later round when Pacquaio was almost knocked down on the side of the ring. His speed and attack became more offensive. Mosley, on the other side, made some great moves as well but I didn't saw much of it aside from his hard defensive moves which made the match a bit of "hit-me-if-you-can" game.

Anyways, the best part  is that  Pacquaio won which is really obvious and that makes us all Filipinos proud of him.  For Mosley's part, he's a good sport and he's way too different from Pacquaio's opponents. He didn't looked and acted boastful and arrogant like some of Pacquaio's previous opponents.

ALL HAIL FOR THE PINOY CHAMP.... We're proud of you Manny!!!

Osama Bin Laden's Death: Is it Really the End?

I was astounded when I heard the news from TV Patrol about the death of the leader of Al-Qada.

Ten years ago, many lives were devastated by the huge bombing attack of Al-Qada to the World Trade Center. Osama bin Laden, the founder of the terrorist group Al-Qada became one of the top ten list of most wanted fugitives and most wanted terrorist.

Al-Qada, an international terrorist group that made several attacks to different countries because of their beliefs.

And ten years after, the long pursuit to the brain of the terrorist group was ended when Osama bin Laden was  shot and killed by the US Navy seals in a secured private residential compound in Pakistan last May 2, 2011.

Many events happened in this past few weeks, the royal wedding, the beatification of Pope John Paul and then this followed. Finally, the long pursuit of Bin Laden has ended but is it really the end. Will the terrorism end after the death of the leader?

Obama said in is confirmation speech, "Justice is done." Well, maybe yes but what about Bin Laden's subordinates?

Many questions filled my head. Will the terrorism be ended after his death or will it be a beginning of another chapter of terrorism in vengeance for the death of their leader? How many lives will be killed for this unending killing? When will this end?

THE BAND PERRY'S IF I DIE YOUNG

When it comes to music, I'm always one of those who immediately search for a song after hearing it and finding it great. Last thursday, my father was on overtime duty and that means, no television. Why? Because, I don't watch a lot of tv shows unless if its Showtime and Eat Bulaga's Pinoy Henyo. My father is a fan of ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida shows especially Mara Clara so since he's not around yet, I did not turn the television on, instead, I turned the radio on. And the song really struck me.

I didn't knew what the genre of the song. It was mellow but sounded a bit of country. It was kind of like the songs by Gregory and the Hawk. I was totally hooked by every line of the song and the chorus was awesome. The song is totally legen...wait for it... dary. [LOL] Anyways. it was a sweet song even if it just tells the wishes of a person in case if he dies young. Here is a YouTube video of the song.

The song is entitled "IF I DIE YOUNG". It was sang by The Band Perry.  I immediately searched for its lyrics and downloaded the song. Now I'm going to share its lyrics. Enjoy and sing along.
IF I DIE YOUNG

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

Lord make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my mother
She'll know I'm safe with you when she stands under my colors
Oh, and life ain't always what you think it ought to be, no
Ain't even gray, but she buries her baby

The sharp knife of a short life
Well, I've had just enough time

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

The sharp knife of a short life
Well, I've had just enough time

And I'll be wearing white when I come into your kingdom
I'm as green as the ring on my little cold finger
I've never known the loving of a man
But it sure felt nice when he was holding my hand

There's a boy here in town, says he'll love me forever
Who would have thought forever could be severed by
The sharp knife of a short life
Well, I've had just enough time

So put on your best, boys, and I'll wear my pearls
What I never did is done

A penny for my thoughts, oh no, I'll sell 'em for a dollar
They're worth so much more after I'm a goner
And maybe then you'll hear the words I been singing
Funny, when you're dead how people start listening

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

The ballad of a dove
Go with peace and love
Gather up your tears, keep 'em in your pocket
Save them for a time when you're really gonna need them, oh

The sharp knife of a short life
Well, I've had just enough time
So put on your best, boys
And I'll wear my pearls.

My Brother's Pants

My brother was on a hurry. He had to attend to our older brother's wedding. So after arriving from China, he left all his baggage in his boarding house and went shopping for new pants and shirt for the wedding. He hated bringing too much baggage so he took his flight with nothing but the Polo Shirt and the pants he bought and a bag of chocolates for our nephews and niece.

Three months later, he came home for christmas vacation. When he was about to leave, he got lazy about his baggage that he left some of his clothes including his three months old pants. I didn't really know what was running in his head that he threw his pants on the bed and said, "It's yours." I didn't know if I would say yes or no. I just didn't answered.

When he was finally finalizing his baggage contents, his pants was still "pending for approval" [LOL] in his bag. I didn't know what went into my mind that I said. [Maybe that makes us really siblings, things just pop up into or heads] "Fine, that's mine already."

So he left and his pants hung in the closet.

Four months later...
Just last week, I had to go to the city to open a bank account. So after taking a bath, I went looking for something to wear only to discover that I already run out of pants. They're all in the laundry. So I rubbled the closet in search for something to wear. I found two skirts, those I used to wear for high school events, skirts that I never wear for already four years and I have no plan of wearing them again unless I'm left with no choice. Finally I found a black freego pants. I grabbed it out and realized it was my brothers pants.

Having no choice, I wore it. After all, it's mine already. Good thing I have a belt to make it fit in my waist. It's quite bigger. It's waistline is bigger than mine and my brother's waist. [My brother waist is something ladylike...LOL... about 27-29?]

I wore it and paired it with my plain gray Lisa Gildan t-shirt. I faced the mirror to check what I looked like and it made sense. I think I know what my brother thought when he gave me his pants. :(

I Learned Them From Movies Compilation Part II

I've always been collecting inspirational lines from movies. In fact, I have an old post here sharing inspiring lines from great movies. However, it's quite hard to update it every now and then for additional lines for the new lines I have collected from the latest movies I've watched. For that reason, I've decided to make a series of it and this post is Part II of the I LEARNED THEM FROM MOVIES series.

CLICK HERE to read the first part.

And now, here are my new collections.

A REFLECTION ON THE YEAR 2010: A WINNER OR A LOSER?

Last year was a rough year. Several things happen. Some of them happened the way I expected and most of them happened unexpectedly. I became a loser and a fighter. I failed on the decision I first chose. Things did not happen the way I pictured it last 2009. Was it really the reason or it just happen that I was so carried away by the present that I forgot to plan the future rightfully? Yeah, maybe the latter was right. Maybe the picture I created wasn’t that clear enough. And then, I chose to stay and move on from all the failures and chose not to regret anything about the decisions I made in 2010. I don’t feel any regret about the loser acts I did last year. Why? Because last year, there were things that happened and they would’ve never happen if the thing I expected happened. I did things that I never thought I could do. There were things I thought impossible for me to achieve but I did. I had a clearer mind and I’ve created a plan. My father said “no one is rich enough to buy back time” and I didn’t want to spend that year wasting my time on regretting about my first decisions. I chose to accept everything, the failures, everything. I chose to move on and did things I wanted. In the comfort of my home, I met several people that became my friends. I forgot all the negativities.

So what happened last year?

Many. Many things happened last year and I’ve learn something.  Things happen for a reason and most of these things happen the way you never expected and usually, they happen the way you didn’t wanted. Either way, YOU ALWAYS HAVE CHOICES. You have two choices. Either you chose to be weak and get carried away by all the negativities or chose to accept all the failures, move on and take the positive side. Life isn’t always ups, ups and ups. Sometimes winners become losers and pride isn’t the most important thing in life. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO ADMIT YOU ARE A LOSER TO BECOME A WINNER.

I may not be successful yet but I can say that I’m a winner because I CHOSE TO MOVE ON.
Thanks be to God for the strength He has given me.
