The Month of March

It's been a month since the last time I've posted about the Banana song of the Minions and until now, I still can't memorize the song well.

Now, I just want to share the things that happened last month.

March was a very busy month, I kind of worked out with thesis and other school requirements for graduation. It's funny to think that we defended our thesis a day before the final passing of grades, bought a dress for my graduation ball a day before the Graduation ball and submitted my application for graduation a day before the Pre - Commencement exercise. And one more thing, we sang the institutes' very first graduation song that was composed for the institute. It was entitled "Ready To Go Beyond".

It was kind of a roller coaster rush. Things happened so fast that I even experienced staying awake for 22 hours, go to school from an overnight work(with our thesis) at my classmates' house without taking a bath and not taking any REAL meals. Until now, I couldn't believe I was able to carry on. Thanks to God's grace. Right now, I feel like I was Supergirl that time.

Photo Mania

Heart's month is finally over. It's MARCHing month now and there's a lot to do especially for those who are going to graduate this month.

Wow! It's such a relief to be able to update my blog. I've been busy these past few weeks because of our thesis and our minor subjects required a lot of assignments, papers and other activities...

Anyways, this post is my break from all the hectic schedules and stuffs. My latest addiction now is Photography. This is because of our Humanities subject. We've been asked by our instructor to submit photos of different subjects. Here are they. Feel free to comment.. :)

The Over-the-Bakod Experience

I was so tired that whole four hours that I was so exhausted when I came home. What’s more tiring was that I also had to go to the school gym for the Cultural Night of our College Palakasan. I haven’t eaten my dinner that time and it was already past six when I came to the school and help my classmates with some of the activities we prepared.
It was quarter to 10 when I decided to go home. I was so tired and hungry. The dorm where I live at imposes curfew and it’s always 10pm during regular semesters and 9pm during summer classes. I had a classmate who had a duplicate key for the dorm for she’s the assigned keymaster of the dorm. She comes home late always because of her school works (she’s a senator in our student government) and she was busy that night in the gym so I was thinking that if she wouldn’t go home yet, the dorm gate would still be open so I went to the nearest fast food and ordered TO-GO meal. It was getting dark so I rode “Sikad” and arrived about 10:30.

COLLEGE DlLEMMA

As part two of my Nothing Beats College poem, I'm sharing this poem entitled "College Dilemma". I wrote Nothing Beats College when I was in my first year in college. Crazy how I kept it for myself for about three years before posting it here in my blog. Anyway, this is my final year in college( I hope so) so I'm writing a part two.

Why do colleges are so complicated?
Why does it make simple things overrated?
Why prove simple values
When the answer is very obvious?
Forcing our brains to drain
‘til blood in our noses rain.

What you get is not what you always see
Because even if your professor smiles
They can still give you INC
And when you think that you got the finals nailed,
Don’t relax and sit back,
For you can still have a failing grade.

And crazy how statistics be so ridiculous
Stating conditions and never-ending rules
And I never thought that freedom can be measured, “son of a gun!”
Then came a statement stating the degree of freedom.

And how come integration and differentiation are very significant?
When after all, it’s only plus and minus that you’ll encounter in your future working barracks.
Why do efforts seem to be very unimportant?
When you have done your very best for your thesis to be excellent.

And when you thought you have sniffed every chemicals, hydrochloric acid and all,
Your chemical research still fails that you feel like overdosing with pills you bought from a drugstore.

Seems to be impossible but yes, it’s true
College is not as simple as a-e-i-o-u
It is a never ending drama
of college dilemma.

Nothing Beats College

Who said college is just like clicking a mouse?
For sure, those who said it are those who just stay in their house.
They do not know how not cool college is.
It's like climbing a mountain with only a string on your waist.

Nothing beats college, that's how to make the story short..
That's how to summarize your hardbound thesis paper
Yeah..Right.. You made it because of your HARDBOUND DETERMINATION..

That is how to prove the equation a=b
Yeah..right... Just apply your super calculus blast
and a couple of derivations then you'll get the answer
you keep looking for, the great NOSEBLEED..

That's how to simulate your electronic circuit..
Sure.. Just connect the terminals here and there..
And then? You get CONNECTION ERROR..

That's how to calculate the boiling point of Sodium Hydrochloride..
Come on.. What's the use of your 991 MS Calculator or is it ES rather?
Answers are just some press away..
Is SYNTAX ERROR that difficult to write in your answer sheets?

That's how to describe your sophisticated classmates
who wear christmas tree outfits everyday and shimmy-shimmy
lip-glossed barbie make-ups.
Yeah.. Speak it out.. That's the synonym for SHINING, SHIMMERING, SPLENDID.

That's how to evaluate those guards in their fortress, the guard house..
Got no ID? Pimp up your smile.. Flick and then wave and seconds later,
SESAME OPEN..

And lastly, who said only actors know how to walk out of the show?
Professors know too..
That's because NOTHING BEATS COLLEGE..
