Mitch Albom Booksigning at Philippines

Best-selling author of Tuesdays with Morrie visited Philippines for his book signing tour last Feb. 22 and 23 at Glorietta Manila and Ayala Cebu and I was really happy to be able to attend that awesome event and have a chance to have my book signed by himself.

Mitch Albom wrote inspiring books namely Tuesdays with Morrie, For One More Day, The Five People you meet in Heaven, Have a Little Faith, The Time Keeper and the newest released "The First Phone Call From Heaven".

I have to be honest, I only knew about his works last 2012 while downloading The Time Keeper e-book online which was recommended by some readers I meet on reading forums and it was really inspiring. So when I learned that he is coming in the Philippines, I immediately grabbed a copy of "The First PHone Call from Heaven" for him to sign when he gets to Cebu. Yey and I really did it.

The First Phone Call from Heaven is fiction story about a town who started receiving phone calls from their dead loved ones telling them that heaven is for real. It's kind of controversial in a sense that why would it happen only in a small town. What's so special about this town? Then there is this widowed guy who just got out of prison who thinks that everyone in their town who kept saying about the strange calls are crazy. Media and other people from other places went to this town and he want to prove them wrong. It's intriguing and I haven't finish reading it yet and I'm really excited. What will happen to the guy? Will he succeed? Oh...  Anyway, here is my signed copy of the book...
