Giants and Elves Badge

I’ve already created a badge for my Giants and Elves blog. I’ve created it just last month and this post about the badge had been in my drafts for quite some time. Too bad that there was brown-out which stopped me from publishing it and then when there was power again, I became lazy to post it and forgot it in the next days. It was only last night after I received a message from SittieCates, my new friend from Triond who told me about how her daughter loves my Giants and Elves blog which is of course, very pleasing and sweet for someone to admire my work even if there are still some typographical errors with the story.

[Hey Sittie, if you’re reading this, thanks for the appreciation…:)]

Okay, back to the real story. So after receiving Sittie’s message in my Triond inbox, I directly checked the blog. That’s when I remembered this unfinished post. I saw my green Giants and elves badge on the upper left sidebar of the blog. The badge is from the background of the blog. I just changed its color theme into light green and embossed it. Now, if you are thinking how I did that? Don’t think about other image editing softwares like Photoshop and Coreldraw because the badge was made with only Microsoft word and Paint. I’m not really savvy when it comes to Photoshop. I only know the basics and Coreldraw is not that friendly with me. It’s only AutoCAD that I can work with and blah blah blah[enough about the software stuffs]. The badge was made in cooperation with the printscreen button on my keyboard. The characters printed on the badge are George[middle] holding his staff, Cedrick[right and Vaiola[left]. I used Paint in drawing the three characters. I just hope someday I can improve them.

What else should I say? Ahhhmmm… [thinking mode] Aha… I have an idea, since I haven’t uploaded the image in Photobucket and in Flickr which is the reason that I still don’t have a badge code, I’m calling all those interested friends out there to just copy the image of the badge in your drive and just upload it on your picture widget and then insert a link to Giants and elves blog. That is if you are interested but if not, thanks for dropping by anyway. :) :) :) ….HAVE FUN and GOD BLESS.
